    • Compost toilets where you flush with wood shavings
  • Barton River Cave
    • Going past Mennonite farming communities
    • Canoeing into a cave that was seen in Mayan culture as a holy place leading to Hell, which all people must pass through before getting to Heaven
    • Seeing pots and skulls from Mayan culture of sacrifices and offerings
  • Big Rock Waterfall is located in Belize’s first national park (there are pine trees!)
  • Francis Ford Coppola (director of The Godfather) owns a hotel in the park which has the best (and most expensive) pizza in Belize
